Hibs reserves beat Motherwell this afternoon at a rain lashed Fir Park.

Motherwell took the lead with an opportune David Clarkson goal, stabbed in from close range after he diverted Well midfielder Brian Kerr's net bound header into the top corner.

Hibs then equalised with a cracking finish from wing wizard Jamie McCluskey, he skinned the Motherwell defence, before curling a wonderful finish beyond the Well keeper.

Hibs then took the lead, with another cracking goal, this time from Kiwi hitman Chris Killen.

A wonderful ball was played over the Motherwell defence, which Killen duly dispatched into the top corner, with a cracking looping strike.

Hibs then went 1-3 up, with another strike from Killen, He hit a pretty weak shot at Motherwell keeper Meldrum, but a Motherwell defender stuck his leg out and deflected it past his own keeper.

Motherwell pulled one back quite quickly, but it wasn't enough and Hibs held out for the win.
