According to an article in the Daily Mail, both Nottingham Forest and Leeds United have made enquires about Hibs midfielder Josh Mulligan.
The former Dundee man is being eyed for a possible January transfer move to the English Premiership, after an outstanding start to his Hibs career since signing from Dundee in the summer.
The Hibees signed the 23-year-old on a pre-contract agreement, and have just recently agreed a compensation package with the Dens Park club.
Mulligan's excellent performances in the Europa League and Conference League, as well as in the Scottish Premiership, have also gained him a Scotland call-up, but he is yet to make his debut for his country, as he looks to force his way into Steve Clarke's squad for the up-coming FIFA World Cup this summer.
The article states that Forest's interest is stronger than Leeds, but the Elland Road side are keeping tabs on the situation..
Forest, of course, have already been linked with a January move for Hibees defender Rocky Bushiri.
Mulligan is contracted to Easter Road until 2029.
HIBERNIAN-MAD VIEW
Despite only joining this past summer, and making only 16 appearances, Josh is already attracting big interest from south of the border, after some stellar performances.
It's no surprise that a big move is being touted for Mulligan, and he would be a huge loss, but the Hibees are in an excellent position.
His contract doesn't expire until the summer of 2029, and it would take a HUGE offer to get prize him away from Easter Road.
However, as we know, the English game is swimming in money, and a big fee wouldn't be a problem for either club.
