Derek Riordan has been called-up to the Scotland Future squad after Blackburn’s Paul Gallagher pulled out.

What a peach from Deek
The 21-year-old forward has been in outstanding form for Mogga's side this season and has notched nine goals.

The former Scotland Under-21 international, who set up the first and scored the winner on Saturday against Craig Brewsters Inverness Caledonian Thistle, has been rewarded with a call-up to the squad for the match against Germany in Mannheim next week.

Riordan said: "I was disappointed not to be included in the squad in the first place, but delighted I’ve now been included. I am looking forward to teaming up with my club team mates Garry O’Connor and Ian Murray
