Kevin Thomson, Scott Brown and Ivan Sproule have all signed new deals to stay at Easter Road.

After losing Garry O'Connor to Lokomotiv Moscow for £1.6M and Gary Caldwell having signed a pre-contract with Celtic and with the distinct possibility of losing Derek Riordan in the summer, Hibs have moved quickly to tie the trio up on long term deals.

Midfield god Kevin Thomson has signed a new improved 4 year deal that will tie him to the club until 2010. It is thought Tottenham, Anderlecht & Fulham are all watching his situation closely, so good news on that front.

Midfield genius Scott Brown has signed a new 3 year deal keeping him at the club until the summer of 2009, with the vultures also circling around Scott.

Hibs wing king, speed merchant Ivan Sproule has also signed a new 3 year deal to keep him at Easter Road until the summer of 2009.

Ivan recently scored his first international goal for
Northern Ireland in a 1-0 win over Estonia and is having a season that can only be described as a fairytale.

Well done to Rod Petrie and Hibs on some brilliant news!
