Transfer target for Hibs??

Hansa Rostock defender, 26 year old, Oumar Konde, is a possible January signing for the Hibees after he has had a wee spell over with the club on trial. A trial that due to the weather was done almost entirely indoors as the Easter Road club has not got outside training facilities with under-soil heating, something that the new proposed Hibees training facilities up at The Jack Kane centre would likely incorporate, I’m sure.

Konde was at Blackburn Rovers for 8 months before he chose to sign for the Baltic sea based Hansa Rostock in the German Bundesliga II who are currently sitting in a not too impressive 13^th out of an 18 team league.

Before flying back to Germany the former Swiss U 21 star said he was impressed with the quality of players that are at Hibs, and the way Hibs play reminded him of one of his former clubs, Freiburg who sit 8 places higher up in the same league as his current team, Hansa Rostock .

Konde added that he flew in on Wednesday and trained with team on the Thursday, although we were indoors because the playing fields were frozen.

He continued to say that he can play in defence or midfield so if Hibs are looking for someone who can play more than one position, he can help.
