The Latest from the treatment room at Easter Road

Gary O’connor has recovered from his knock and should be in contention for this weekends visit from rangers, but Sam Morrow has been in the stadium today hobbling around on a couple of crutches and is possibly out for up to eight weeks says the Hibs manager, though the extent of the damage to his ankle won’t be known for sure till the physio team get a look at it once the swelling goes down.

Other players who received knocks in the quarter final loss to the Arabs include :- , Gary Caldwell, Dean Shiels, Craig Rocastle and oor willie oops, I mean Derek Riordan of course J

David Murphy has a broken left thumb due to a training field accident, but could still be in with a shout for the upcoming game.

Add these to the long term injuries of Jonathon Baillie, Kevin Nicol, Scott Brown, out till next year now, and Kevin Thomson, whose making good progress and should return around the turn of the year all going well, and it sure puts a big dent in what is a smaller than usual squad.
