Hibs have today announced Marink Reedijk as thier new manager.
The 35-year-old Dutchman has replaced Sir David Gray in the Easter Road hotseat, just 8 days after the club legend lefy the club after a 12 year association.
Reedijk left his position with Belgian side Beveren at the end of last season, stating he wanted a new challenge, after he guided them to promotion to the top tier, undefeated, the first time this has happened in a Belgian league since 1934.
He also previously managed Anderlecht's youth side, and has also coached at Roeselare, Ajax, West Brom and Vitesse Arnhem.
Reedijk has added Rogier Molhoek as his assistant.
The likes of Jon-Dahl Tomasson, Shamrock Rovers boss Stephen Bradley and Neil Lennon were all linked with Easter Road, but Reedijk gets the nod.
Speaking to the official club website, the Hibees new boss said:

“I can feel the ambition and see the clarity of what the Club is trying to achieve. That was a big part of what attracted me here.
“I want us to be an assertive team - brave, intense and committed. A team that gives everything, plays with purpose and gives our supporters something to really get behind.
“There is quality and potential in the squad, and good work has already been done. My first job is to get to know the players, build on those foundations and make sure we are ready for Dundee United.”

It's good to see the club move so quickly to get their man.
Reedijk has a strong CV and it's a positive move from the club to try something different.
The new boss now has a week's training trip to La Manga to work with his new players, before his first game in-charge against Dundee Utd.
