Hibs are tonight being linked with a move for out-of-contract midfielder Callum Wright.
According to numerous reports, The Hibees are in discussions with the player, and are currently leading the race for his signature.
Wright, 26, is a free agent after leaving Plymouth Argyle at the end of his contract this summer.
He spent last season loan with Wigan Athletic, were he was a team mate of Hibs summer signing Jason Kerr.
Wright was involved in 15 goal contributions last season with the Latics, and they, along with a number of other suitors, are keen on landing the former Blackpool player.
He is normally a number 10, but can also play as an 8 or 6.
The Hibees have already lost loan players Dan Barlaser and Kai Andrews from the engine room this summer, and there may be a few more exits.
Hibs are looking to bolster their squad ahead of another crack at European football only weeks away, against either Albanians FK Vllaznia or Kosovo side FC Malisheva in the Uefa Conference League.
Wright has played over 200 times in his career with WIgan, Blackpool, Plymouth and Cheltenham.
HIBS-MAD VIEW
It's good to see Hibs moving in the transfer market.
The first European game is only weeks away, and with the players returning for pre-season this Monday, the more ney guy's in for the first day the better.
