With just days left of the 2026 January transfer window, Hibs have suddenly exploded into life.
The Hibees have secured striker Owen Elding from Sligo Rovers, midfielder Kai Andrews on loan from Coventry City and Dane Scarlett on loan from Spurs in the last few days, and it now seems they are closing in on another capture.
According to reports coming out of Croatia, Hibs boss David Gray is set to land Slavs Belupo winger Ante Suto, after he flew into Edinburgh to undergo a medical.
The 25-year-old right winger, who can also operate on the left, has played 20 times this season, scoring 4 times and adding 6 assists.
So far the fee has not been disclosed, but with 2-and-a-half-years left on his contract with Belupo, it's likely a fee will be needed.
Suto has also previously played for Croat. Zmijavci in his homeland.
HIBERNIAN-MAD
Another one that has come from nowehere.
We must admit, we know nothing about the player, but he has decent experience, and would add to an already stacked forward area at Easter Road.
The question is, does this point towards a Hibs formation change??? David Gray normally prefers wing-backs to wingers, could this move point towards a shift????
