Hibs have tonight confirmed the signing of midfielder Callum Wright.
The 26-year-old has signed for the Hibees on a free transfer following the end of his contract with Plymouth Argyle.
Wright has signed a 3-year-deal at Easter Road, and becomes David Gray's second summer transfer signing, following Jason Kerr, who was his team mate last season, whilst on loan with Wigan Athletic.
He was awarded Player and Player's Player of the Year last season with the Latics, being involved in 15 goal contributions.
Hibs boss David Gray was delighted with his new signing, speaking to the official club website, he said:
“We’re delighted Callum has committed his future to the Club and we can’t wait for him to get started.
“He has all the traits you want in a midfielder; high energy, excellent work-rate, creativity and an eye for goal.
“He is coming off the back of a very impressive season at Wigan and it is extremely beneficial that he has arrived with a full pre-season ahead of him and a good opportunity to gel with the group.”
