Hibs have quickly followed up the signing of Stoke City striker Nathan Lowe, by landing a new wing-back!
The Hibees have confirmed the capture of Millwall's Adam Mayor.
Mayor, 21, has signed on at Easter Road for an undisclosed fee.
Despite being only 21, Mayor has plenty experience, having played over 100 games.
He started his career with Morecambe, where he won a move to Millwall for a reported £300,000 fee, he played a few games for the English Championship side before being loaned out to both Bromley and Cambridge United.
Cambridge were said to be interested in re-signing him, but Hibs boss David Gray has pushed the deal over the line.
Speaking to the official club website, Gray said:
“We're delighted to bring another exciting young player into the building and welcome Adam to Hibernian FC.
“He is a promising young player to add to the group, and he has already made successful strides in his career so far.
“There’s no doubt Adam will bring real athleticism to the squad. He's a wing-back who really loves attacking and putting crosses into the box and can contribute at both ends of the pitch.
“We’re all looking forward to him joining the group and working with him going forward.”
Hibs-Mad View:
We don't know much about the lad, but he seems a pretty exciting signing.
He plays on the left, so will bring competition to Nicky Cadden, and it could also see Jordan Obita moved inside to now act as a left sided central defender.
Mayor can also play further forward.
Welcome to the Hibees kid!
