Hibs Women sign Aussie striker Kyah Simon

Hibs Women have today announced the signing of Australian International striker Kyah Simon.

The veteran, 35, has been capped an incredible 111 times for the Matildas, and has played for the likes of PSV Eindhoven and Tottenham Hotspur.

Simon has also won the title in her homeland 4 times, twice each with Melbourne and Sydney, and has also played in Holland, France and the USA.

She has also played at THREE World Cups, and scored 5 times accross those torunaments, and also helped the Aussies lift their first ever Asian Cup in 2010, by scoring the winning penalty against North Korea in the shootout.

Speaking to the official club website, Simon said:

"I’m delighted to be signing for Hibs. As soon as I spoke with Joelle, I knew this was the right move for me.

"I’m really excited for a new challenge in Scottish football, and to be fighting alongside this team for silverware this season."
