Hibs Women boss Joelle Murray has added another new signing as she continues to re-build her squad for the new season.
The Hibees have secured the signing of striker Aoife Colvill on a two-year-deal - subject to international clearance.
The 25-year-old Aussie born attacker has joined from Belgian side Standars Liege, having previously had a 4 year spell with Glasgow City in the SWPL.
Colvill won the Belgian Cup last season, and has previously won two SWPL titles in Glasgow.
Speaking to the club website, boss Joelle Murray said:
“We’re delighted to welcome Aoife to Hibernian. She’s a player who already knows the SWPL well, and that experience will be a real asset to us as we continue to strengthen the squad.
“Aoife gives us a strong attacking presence and has the versatility to play through the middle or in the wide areas, which is something that will be really valuable over the course of the season. She’s an intelligent player who works hard for the team and gives us different options in the final third.
“When Aoife last played in the league, her goals-to-games ratio was extremely impressive, and that’s a reflection of the quality she possesses in front of goal. We’re hopeful she can carry that form into her time with Hibs and make a real impact for us.
“We’re excited to have her on board and look forward to seeing the qualities she brings to the team as we continue to build towards the season ahead.”
