Young Hibees forward Dean Cleland has signed for Scottish League two side Stranraer.
The 18-year-old, who netted 38 times for the Hibs U19 side last season, has joined the Stair Park side on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Cleland joined East Kilbride on loan earlier this season, but the loan was brief and he quickly returned to Easter Road after only 3 substitute appearances.
The youngster has already made his debut for Stranraer yesterday, as a substitue against Edinburgh City.
Hibs Academy Director Gareth Evans said:
"This is an excellent opportunity for Dean to continue his promising development by gaining more experience playing competitive football in the professional leagues. Dean has continued to impress within our academy set-up, both domestically and in European competition, this season, and has been involved with first team training.
“A spell in League Two will allow him to gain regular minutes and build on that progress.
"We will monitor his development closely during his time at Stranraer and wish him the best of luck during his time there."
