Ex Hibs player Andrew Shinnie joins Luton Town on loan

Former Hibs loan player Andrew Shinnie has joined English side Luton Town.

It's been revealed that Shinnie has joined the League Two side on a season long loan deal.

The 27-year-old spent last season on loan in Edinburgh, helping the Hibees clinch the Championship title, and a return to the Premiership.

Shinnie returned to Birmingham City at the end of last season, and it appears new manager Harry Redknapp does not rate the former Scotland internationalist, allowing him to leave St Andrews for the second year running.

He made 32 appearances for Hibs and scored 3 goals, including a memorable strike against Hearts in the 3-1 Edinburgh derby, Scottish Cup, replay at Easter Road.

Hibernian-Mad would like to wish Andrew well at his new club.
