Hibs coach Mark Proctor could be the next Livingston manager!!!

Last updated : 11 May 2007 By Steve Forbes

WWW.HIBERNIAN-MAD.CO.UK Understands that Hibs coach Mark Proctor has this afternoon emerged as one of the front runners for the vacant Livingston manager's job.

Proctor arrived at Easter Road as first team coach to then Hibs manager Tony Mowbray. He was then promoted to caretaker manager just weeks after arriving, when Mowbray left to take over English Championship side
West Brom.

Proctor was in charge of the side for three games, before John Collins was appointed as the new Hibernian manager in November.

It now seems however that Proctor has shot to the front of the candidates for the
Livingston job after owner Pearce Flynn apparently contacted Mowbray and asked for his thoughts on the Hibs coach and was impressed with what he heard.

It is now thought that Proctor will be in a straight fight for the Almondvale job with another ex Hibs manager, Bobby Williamson. It is believed that Flynn could be in touch with Hi-Bees chairman Rod Petrie over the next couple of days about the ex Middlesbrough man.
