Hibs eye QPR striker Jay Emmanuel Thomas

Hibs have been linked with a move for QPR striker Jay Emmanuel-Thomas.

The Hibees are looking to land the former Arsenal man on a loan deal until the end of the season.

However, the move depends on wether Simon Murray leaves Easter Road before the window closes at midnight tonight.

Dundee and a couple of, so far, unknown foreign clubs have shown an interest in Murray, and should the 25-year-old go, the Hibees are keen on replacing him with the QPR man.

Emmanuel-Thomas, 27, has struggled for game time with the English Championship club, and QPR are said to be willing to let him leave on loan this window.

He has previously played for the likes of Ipswich, Bristol City, Cardiff City and Blackpool.
