Hibs forward Derek Riordan called up to Scotland squad

Hibs striker Derek Riordan has today been called in to the Scotland squad, for the up coming friendly with Wales.

The Scots travel to face the Welsh at Cardiff City’s new stadium, unimaginatively named the Cardiff City Stadium, on Saturday 14th November, with a 3pm kick off.

It’s the second squad in a row Riordan has been called up to, and he will be hoping for longer on the pitch, than the 15 minutes he got in Japan.

Riordan is joined in the squad by ex Hibs players Gary Caldwell, Steven Whittaker, Kevin Thomson and Steven Fletcher.
