The 32-year-old would bring a wealth of experience to the young Hibs side, having played in the English Premiership for a number of years, as well as in the Uefa Champions League with Rangers. He also has experience at international level but it looks like this deal could be dead.
It's not clear whether Hibs will go back for the striker as the have signed Killie striker Colin Nish in a £150,000 deal and Mixu insisted that

"He'll be a useful addition, he's an excellent link up player, he has vision, good awareness, he's a good finisher and hopefully he will score a lot of goals and help others do so as well."
