Hibs interested in Ross County striker Ross Stewart

Last updated : 10 June 2020 By Steve Forbes

According to the Daily Record, Hibs are considering making an offer for Ross County striker Ross Stewart.

The Hibees were interested in the hitman in January, bu no deal was forthcoming and he stayed in the Highlands.

Hibs would face some stiff competition for his signature, with the likes of Blackburn Rovers, Stoke City and Aberdeen also being linked with a move for the 23-year-old.

Jack Ross has signed Stewart before, for St Mirren, but the move didn't work out and signed for County for a reported 'six figure' fee.

Stewart hit 11 goals in 26 appearances in an impressive campaign for the Staggies last season.

Another interesting transfer link for the Hibees.

Stewart has worked his way up the leagues, scoring a good amount of goals along the way.

Hibs would probably need to pay a decent transfer fee however, and after recent corona virus outbreak, it remains to be seen if it's a move the club could afford.
