Hibs have this evening confirmed that goalkeeper Kevin Dabrowski has left the club on loan - and he won't be back.
Dabrowski, 24, has joined Queen of the South on loan until the end of the season, and with his current contract up in the summer, this means his time at Easter Road is up, after he asked to leave to get first team football.
Currently the excellent veteran David Marshall stands in his way, as well as on loan Ryan Schofield.
The Polish keeper becomes the second Hibee to join the Dumfries side today, following the transfer of youngster Jack Brydon earlier today.
Dabrowski never put a foot wrong when given a chance in the first team, but he has unfortunately been behind the likes of Marshall and Israel keeper Ofir Marciano during his time with the Hibees.
Hibs signed the keeper as a youngster from Lech Poznan back in 2017 after an initial loan trial went well.
Kev played 7 times for the club, including an incredible display against Hearts in an Edinburgh derby when the Hibees were hammered with injuries, forcing them to throw him in at the deep end, he went on to pull off a string on brilliant saves and was awarded man of the match.
He also had numerous loan spells away from Easter Road, including spells with Berwick Rangers, Dumbarton, Civil Service Strollers and Cowdenbeath.
HIBS-MAD VIEW:
We can understand this one, Kev is now 24, and has been waiting in the wings for a number of years.
When given the chance he never put a foot wrong, his biggest obstacle at ER, has been having the likes of Ofir Marciano and David Marshall in his way.
Good luck to Kev, wherever he ends up.
