Hibs have revealed today that young goalkeeper Max Boruc has joined Arbroath.

The 21-year-old has joined the Scottish Championship on loan for the rest of the season.

Boruc arrived at Easter Road during the summer from Slask Wroclaw and made his debut against Inter Club D'Escaldes in the Europa Conference League.

6ft 5in Boruc went on to play 3 games this season, but finds himself behind David Marshall and Jojo Wollacott in the pecking order.

Speaking to the official club website, Hibs boss Nick Montgomery said:

“Like Riley, this is a good opportunity for Max to go out and play regular football in a really competitive league.

“I’m sure he will embrace this opportunity, and I look forward to seeing how this will help to develop his all-round game.”

HIBS-MAD VIEW:

A good move for the kid.

He impressed during his little stint between the sticks for the Hibees earlier this season, and hopefully this move gets him more game time.

A run of games in the Championship would be massive for his development.
