Hibs midfielder Dylan Tait joins Falkirk on loan

Hibs have today confirmed that midfielder Dylan Tait has joined Falkirk on loan.

The 22-year-old has joined the Bairns on loan for the rest of the season, after his loan with Hamilton Accies was cancelled.

Tait's loan deal with the Accies was cancelled in mysterious circumstances, with a childish twitter announcement to boot, which quickly see him replaced with ex Rangers midfielder Jake Hastie.

However Tait seems to have had the last laugh, with a move to Falkirk, who are 9 points clear of Hamilton in the League One title race.

Hibs signed Tait from Raith Rovers back in 2021, in a reported £150,000 deal, and he was loaned back to the Kirkcaldy club as part of the transfer.

He has had further loan spells with Kilmarnock, Arbroath, Hamilton and now Falkirk.

Tait has only managed one appearance, in the league cup, for the Hibees, and it seems he isn't any further forward in breaking into the Easter Road first team.

HIBS-MAD VIEW

We are not surprised to see Tait go on loan again, although the circumstances of his exit from Hamilton are concerning.

He has bagged himself another good loan deal, could he use this to impress Nick Montgomery??

However, he now has nearly 140 games under his belt, he could be in last chance saloon for a career with the Hibees.

Good luck at Falkirk Dylan.
