Hibs to get up to 8,000 tickets for Ibrox cup clash!!

Last updated : 14 February 2008 By Steve Forbes
Hibs have been given a boost ahead of their upcoming Scottish Cup visit to Ibrox, with the news that they will be handed anything up to 8,000 tickets for the clash.

The Hibees drew 0-0 with the
Glasgow side in the first game at Easter Road and now they head to Ibrox for a replay, with a possible 8,000 strong green and white army behind them.

On their last visit to Ibrox on Scottish Cup duty in 2006 the Hibees smashed Rangers 3-0 with goals from Garry O'Connor, Ivan Sproule and Chris Killen and had the backing of 7,500 fans that day and could have even more this time!!

The Hibees have been handed the whole of the Broomloan Stand and will hope they can pack as many Hibs supporters to back the team as possible.

The prices for the 5th round replay have also been slashed from the normal SPL price, adult tickets come in at £22 and it's only £10 for a child, as Mixu's men continue their quest to end their century long Scottish Cup hoodoo.

Season ticket holders can purchase tickets from this coming Saturday from
9am and will also be allowed to purchase additional tickets for non season ticket holders in order to encourage more Hibees to travel.

Any tickets left will then be put to a public sale on
Saturday 23rd February 2008.

You can purchase your tickets in three ways:

* ONLINE: http://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/tickets
* PHONE: 0844 844 1875
* Or in person at the ticket office

Let's hope we can sell as much as possible and roar the team on to yet another famous Ibrox win.
