Ian Murray on his way back to Hibs in the next 24 hours???

Rumour has it that Hibs new manager Mixu Paatelainen has already pin pointed his ex team mate, Ian Murray, as his first signing as manager at Easter Road.

According to our source Murray, 26, currently with championship side Norwich City, could be a Hibs player within the next 24 hours!!

Hibs would be looking to tie up a loan deal for the ex club captain, but may be able to secure his signature for a nominal fee to pave the way for a return to his boyhood heroes.

Murray left Hibs under a cloud in 2005 after signing a pre-contract bosman agreement with Rangers and denying the team he supported as a boy any transfer fee.

Brighton and Falkirk are both thought to be keen on taking the player on loan, but it's thought he would prefer a return to Easter Road.

Could Mixu be about to make his first signing, within HOURS of becoming the new manager at Easter Road???
