Hibs have today been linked with a move for former striker Kenny Miller.

According to the Express Rangers have still not offered the former Scotland striker a new deal, alerting the Hibees.

Hibs could offer their former youth product a pre-contract agreement, for a return to Easter Road in the summer.

Miller, 37, has stated in the past that he liked the thought of finishing his career back at the club where he started.

He left the Hibees for Rangers in a £2m deal in 2000, before moving on to play for Celtic, Bursaspor (Turkey), Vancouver Whitecaps (Canada), Wolves, Rangers again, Derby County, Cardiff City and he is now with THE Rangers.

Miller also had a short loan spell with Stenhousemuir while with the Hibees.

Hibs boss Neil Lennon is said to be waiting to see if the Ibrox club offer him a deal when they appoint their new manager, if not the former Celtic boss is ready to pounce.
