According to journalist Alan Nixon, English Championship side Leeds United have joined the race to sign Hibs midfield dynamo John McGinn.
Hibs are looking for £5m for their star man, but Leeds boss Paul Heckingbottom, who is understood to be a big admirer of the Scotland player, is expected to come in with an opening bid of around £2.5m.
A number of clubs have already been linked with McGinn, including Celtic, The Rangers and a host of English clubs.
The Hibees knocked back a number of bids from Nottingham Forest last summer, the highest said to be £1.9m. Ipswich Town also had an offered rejected last summer.
It's unclear if these clubs will come back for the 23-year-old, but it looks increasingly likely that the Hibees will struggle to hold on to the ex-St Mirren star.
