Liam Henderson to return to Hibs????

Hibs have today been linked with another move for Celtic midfielder Liam Henderson.

The 20-year-old become a club legend last season while on loan, helping the Hibees lift the Scottish Cup.

The Sun newspaper is reporting that Hibs boss Neil Lennon is attempting to persuade Celtic to let the player join on a permanent deal.

Celtic would be looking for a fee, or a big slice of percentage of any future transfer fee to allow the deal to happen, but Lennon is apparently confident he can do a deal.

Henderson is way down the pecking order at Parkhead, behind the likes of Nir Bitton, Scott Brown, Kris Commons and Stefan Johansen.

The Glasgow side are top heavy with midfielders, with Scott Allan, Ryan Christie, Patrick Roberts, Kristoffer Ajer, James Forrest, Callum McGregor, Gary Mackay-Steven, Tom Rogic & Stuart Armstrong also fighting for a place.

Could a return to Easter Road be on the cards for Henderson?

Let's hope so.
